Two ways to reach us when something isn't working, when you want a feature, or when you just have a question.

Open a GitHub issue¶

For bugs, feature requests, or questions about how something works:

This is the best channel for anything reproducible. Public threads also help future users find answers without having to ask again.

A good bug report includes:

Unity version (e.g. Unity 6000.0.32f1)
Hierarchy Inspector version (visible at the top of the theme inspector, or in the welcome window)
A short description of what you expected vs. what you saw
Reproduction steps
A screenshot if it's a visual issue

For license questions, purchase or account problems, or anything you'd rather not discuss in public:

We aim to reply within a few business days.

A quick check that often saves a round-trip:

Make sure Overlay Enabled is on at the top of the theme inspector. If the master switch is off, no Hierarchy Inspector features render.
Confirm the active theme is set in Edit → Preferences → Hierarchy Inspector. If the theme field is empty, nothing renders.
Try the bundled HierarchyTheme-Default. If a custom theme misbehaves, swapping back to default usually narrows the issue down to a setting.
Skim the relevant Features or Theme Reference page in the sidebar; the answer to "how do I X" is often a sentence in the docs.
